Who is a delegate?

At our events, a delegate is an attendee who is responsible for joining the sessions of the conference. Participants can be executives from a company, consultant, academic professionals, government agencies, groups and associations.

 

What do you get out of attending?

Attending one of our events is not only the best and most productive way to stay up to date and get first-hand information within your industry and also source new business contacts. It is amazing and fun. You get to hear about all new products and services, have face-to-face meetings, spend some time networking, and attend industry specific workshop and training sessions.

 

What is the cost to attend?

Participation fee differs from each event to the other. We understand the value of investment and our conferences are moderately priced to allow your budget and participation.  The participation fee includes the possibility to join all training and presentation sessions, plus meals and refreshments. If the event lasts for two days, this will also include a gala dinner and a certificate of attendance. We do have flexible cancellation policies.

 

What do the events include?

The main focus of our Summits is to have face-to face meetings with key industrial players and specialized solution providers. You will also have the opportunity to network with peers, attend topical seminars and update yourself with key knowledge and trends. Two day events also include a gala dinner which serves as a perfect place for networking and discussing business.

Networking breaks will be a part of the conference agenda to give you a chance to create professional contact among participation companies joining the conference.

 

Can you arrange one-to-one meeting?

At Platinum Edge Summits, we work on selections to meet the growing demand of both delegates and solution providers. With a given notice prior to the event dates, we can arrange a preferred one-to-one meeting between a specific customer and provider. This is group under these priorities:

Perfect Meetings; where a delegate and supplier have both requested to meet one another

Delegate requests; where a delegate has an interest in a particular provider

Provider requests; where a solution provider has registered an interested in meeting a delegate

 

What is the dress code?

The dress code during the day for all events is corporate business attire.

For gala dinner, attendees are expected to wear smart dress / smart casual or evening wear.

 

How can I book accommodation for the event?

Please contact the team for the particular event that you are attending; they may be able to advise you of preferential rates, or provide you with contact details for the hotel where the event will be held. Be assured that after signing up to attend any of our event , Our team will send you a confirmation mail which will  contain all necessary information about the hotel .

If the event is not being held in a hotel, they may be able to advise you of nearby accommodation.

 

Can we register to the conference when we do not know the name(s) of the attending delegate(s)?

Yes! The registration form can be sent to us (office@platinumedgegrp.com) without the name(s) of the attending delegate(s).  In the names section on the registration form please put this indication “TBA (To be Announced)” The name(s) can be provided at least 14 days prior to the event.

 

Can I register online?

There is a possibility to register online. In this case please provide the full details on the online registration and your contact number in international format. The registration department will contact you immediately to assist you on how to proceed with the registration fees payment.

 

When should I pay for the conference?
Payment must be received prior to the conference dates.

 

How should I pay for the conference?
Payment can be made online by credit card or through a bank transfer. We accept all kinds of credit cards – VISA, Mastercard, Diners, AMEX etc.

We also accept payment via bank transfer. In this case, you will need to indicate on your registration form that you need a “proforma invoice” – an invoice which has all our bank details. However, our preferred method of payment is payment with credit/debit card.

 

Is there possibility for a group discount?

In case you would like to send 4 or more delegates please contact our registration department office@platinumedgegrp.com  for discount possibilities.

 

Do I receive any conference materials and when?
Your conference handouts will be distributed on the first morning of the conference. Additional conference material will be made available on a temporary website after the event which you can download later. You will be provided with access details for this website at the conference.

 

How many attendees will be at my conference?
This varies for each conference. Usually our conferences a medium sized with 60- 100 participants.

 

How can I get to the venue?
The hotel phone number is listed within the conference information. Once registered, you will receive a location Map. Please contact us if you require any further information or assistance.

 

What about accommodation?
The cost of the hotel accommodation and travel is not included in the registration fee. Details of the accommodation options are also included within the conference information. Normally we negotiate a very good hotel rate for all our participants in the same hotel we organize the conference. After registration, we will send you a special promotional code which you will use to make your hotel reservation in order to benefit from the discounted hotel rate. In case you would like book your hotel in a different hotel we can also make some good recommendations.

 

Are the meals included?
Yes, all refreshments and conference lunches have been carefully selected to offer you the best in banqueting. All dietary requirements are respected; just let us know when making your selections so we can make the necessary arrangements. Check the agenda for times.

 

Will I have access to the participants for easy networking?

The full participants list will be provided to every delegate at the conference. Participants list will include names of the delegates, Job titles, Company and Country.

 

Delegate Substitutions and Cancellations
In case you will not be able to attend the event after registration for whatever reason, you can send a substitute to replace you for no extra cost. The name of the substitute should be provided at least 7 days to the event.

In case a delegate would like to cancel their participation for some unexpected eventualities, such requests must be submitted in written and sent by post 4 weeks prior to the event in order to obtain a full credit note for any future event organized by Platinum Edge. The fees charged are strictly non-refundable.

 

Can I get access to the conference documentation in case I will not be able to attend the conference?

The conference documentation which includes the full case study presentations and delegate lists can be purchased in the case you will not be present at the conference. You can contact our registration departments at office@platinumedgegrp.com for more details.

 

Do you need a VISA to attend the event?

In case you require a visa to attend the conference, we can issue you an official invitation to apply for visa after FULL payment of the participation fees.

Special Needs
If you have any special needs, disabilities, and/or dietary restrictions that we may address to make your participation at our events more enjoyable, please do let us know when registering.

Who is a Solution provider?

A Solution provider is an organization or individual that can provide a product or service to a delegate. Depending on the kind of industry, this may vary from software’s to consultancy services and others.

 

What is included in the cost to attend?

We have a wide range of packages we offer to solution providers, all of which can be tailored to suit your needs. These will include a personalized itinerary of pre-arranged business meetings, online branding before the event and during the event, speaking opportunities and becoming the Headline sponsor of our event to maximize your presence or we can create bespoke opportunities to best suit your business needs and budget.

 

How do I know who is attending the event?

You will be updated periodically on attending delegates; right from the time that you confirm your place, to the day of the event itself. Mostly a full list of attending companies with their positions will be sent to you 2 weeks before the event days.

Is there any pre-event preparation required from a solution provider?

Pre-event preparation Summits is quite minimal. To give you the best online presence and other marketing advantages, you will be required to send a single A4 page company profile, logo and synopsis of company activity; as well as selecting what products and services your organization provides. This process is to help delegates understand your company and select to meet with you closer to the event. You will also need to prepare any event-specific marketing, but this is at your discretion. If you will like to have a stand at the conference venue, you are welcome to discuss that with our Business development team before the event.

Exhibition Stand

At some events, you will be provided with an exhibition /meeting stand. Depending on the kind of partnership package you signed up for, you can have a stand with a dimension of 2m*2m , 2m*3m or 3m*3m .You will also receive light, power, furniture and Wi-Fi access.

You can bring your own roller banners and also you would be allowed to fix marketing material to these areas where necessary and appealing to you.
